La Pretiosa

Add accessories designer to Leonardo da Vinci's list of many, incredible talents. It is believed that this beautiful handbag was designed by him in 1497, at the same time he was painting The Last Supper. Way to make the rest of us feel like talentless losers, haha.

The fragmented drawings were first discovered in 1978 by da Vinci scholar Carlo Pedretti, reassembled by Art Historians Alessando Vessozi and Agnese Sabato of Vinci's Museo Ideale, and brought to life by luxury fashion house Gherardini. Proof that good things come to those who wait.

It is said that Leo was tight with the Gheradini family, which included a certain Lisa... hmmm :)

These bags come out in March with an extremely limited run of 99. I have no doubt that they're going to be insanely expensive, and that most, if not all, have already been reserved.
