For my last night, Linda and I went to Carrefour for ingredients and had ourselves an amazing seafood dinner at home. We had French oysters, whelk dipped in Maille, smoked salmon, bread and butter, some French brand all natural chips, Madagascar shrimp, and ginormous prawns the size of my hand.
Linda made a surprising wine choice- a Cabernet Franc (Anjou Villages Brissac - Château La Verière). SO good and very inexpensive! Normally when you think raw seafood you think of white wine, but this paired really nicely with our meal.
